He fell first amongst the superior angels who went before Michael and other heavenly angels. He distributes preferences for senatorships, causes favours of friends and foes and gives excellent familiars. He must have offerings and sacrifices made to him.* *He is partly of the Order of the Virtues and partly of that of the Angels. Unless he be constrained by Divine Power, he will not remain one hour in the truth. He was one of the vast cohort shut up by Solomon in a brazen vessel and released subsequently by the Babylonians. Wikipedia has quite a bit of information on him from other sources as well. Athena Belial: is one of the more prominant Daemons of the Goetia. He is well known and widely worked with. He helps the magician in many matters in their life, anywhere from personal strength, protection, wealth, stability, and protection. Belial prefers that you work with him regularly instead of just calling him once and never getting into contact again. Belial is very well known in his dealings with King Solomon, and spent a lot of time in Solomon's court, as can be seen by certain very old books on magic. Belial also figures prominantly in the book of Abramelin, as well as many of the older Heirarchies of hell. He of course is also called upon by Levayan Satanists during their opening rituals and workings. He is quite used to working with humans, but don't expect him to be overly friendly, especially not at first.
