Bael Goetia Demon bath. We only use 100% pure roots, herbs and sometimes essential oils. No synthetics are used! These are only a small sample of the magick baths we carry, if you do not see what you need please inquire.Bath instructionsTo use any of our baths you simply add them to a pot of water, approximately 1 litre or so. Bring it to a boil, then after about one minute turn the heat down and simmer it for another 5-10 minutes. Next you can either strain it into your bathwater, or you can just pour everything into the bath water. If you do pour everything in, including the bits of herbs, just use either a strainer to get the chunks out after your bath, or one of those fish tank nets, or a bird catching net.It is best to take each bath each day for 3 days in a row. Be sure to dunk your head uner the water as well for 3 or 9 times. It is recommended that you sit in meditation and do not have contact with other people for at least half an hour to an hour after the bath.If however you do not have a bathtub, you would prepare the herbs as above, but then pour them into a bucket, which you fill with warm shower water (this step is very important for comfort level!) and pour over yourself slowly at the end of your bath. I prefer to brush off any chunky bits afterwards than shower them off.
1) Baell - Their first and principall king (which is of the power of the east) is called Ball who when he is conjured up, appeareth with three heads; the first, like a tode; the second, like a man; the third, like a cat. He speaketh with a hoarse voice, he maketh a man go invisible [and wise], he hath under his obedience and rule sixtie and six legions of divels.
1) BAEL.--The First Principal Spirit is a King ruling in the East, called Bael. He maketh thee to go Invisible. He ruleth over 66 Legions of Infernal Spirits. He appeareth in divers shapes, sometimes like a Cat, sometimes like a Toad, and sometimes like a Man, and sometimes all these forms at once. He speaketh hoarsely. This is his character which is used to be worn as a Lamen before him who calleth him forth, or else he will not do thee homage.
I. BAAL, a king ruling in the East, who imparts invisibility and wisdom. He appears with a human head, or with that of a toad or cat,* but sometimes with all at once. He speaks with a hoarse voice.*
*The cat is the traditional domestic favourite, not only of those who diabolise, but of the diabolical world itself, which shews that after all there is a strong link with humanity in the cohorts of Lucifer. The reader will remember that the cat falls on its feet, not by natural good luck, but by the special dispensation of Mohammed, and that the favourite of the Prophet is in Paradise, no doubt on the best terms with the dog of the Seven Sleepers.
*Another codex says that he manifests with three beads-the first like a toad, the second like a man and the third like a cat.
I'd imagine "beads" was a typo for "heads", though I do not see this footnote in my copy?
See the entry for Baal at Wikipedia. This name's been around possibly longer than written history.
BAEL: The cheif of the Daemon Demons in some areas. Bael has been called by many names throughout history. He is very interesting to work with, and will work with a magician in a variety of ways both formal and amazingly informal. Bael grants requests and wishes, but one must make a pact agreeing on what sort of work and trade are to be done. I think Bael is one of the most called Goetia spirits... perhaps many don't get far into the book. Bael enjoys incense of cedar.
