Many of the names on the sigil dei aemeth are taken from the Kabbalah. The names taken from the Kabbalistic system correlate with the seven planets and the tree of life. The shapes of the geomantic figures within the sigil were used prior to Dee and Kelly's time, and are considered to have been a strong influence on the sigil dei aemeth. There are eight sets of names on the Sigil Dei Aemeth. Each set of entities contains seven names. The hierarchy is as follows: The name of God, the angels, the seven angels who stand before god, the daughters of light, the sons of light, the daughters of the daughters, the sons of the sons, and the archangels. The names on the outermost ring are at the top of the hierarchy and are to be called first. The names in the outermost heptagon are second in the hierarchy, and so on. As you move further inwards on the sigil, the hierarchy becomes lower and lower.
The outer ring of the sigil contains 40 letters. The name of 40 letters is “the greatest name of god”. This name is: Gnthnmoanahollnlgnhoytoebaiannaognosaawt. Oh all right, in this case I will concede that Enochian can be unpronounceable! I figure that this name would more so meant to be just for the sigil, or perhaps to be written. It takes a lot of effort to speak or vibrate this 40 letter name out loud. As a side note, Uriel states that this 40 letter name of god does not correlate with the well known 42 letter name of god.
There are seven names that are derived from the outer ring of the sigil (other than the 40 letter name). These seven names correlate with the seven planets. The names on the outer ring of the sigil are derived as follows. Each name is read clockwise. The first name starts from the top of the sigil with the letter T. Each successive letter is added to the name by way of the numbers above and below the letters. If the number is on top of the letter, then that number of places is counted forward along the outer ring and the letter that is reached is written down. If however the number is below the letter then that number of spaces is counted backwards along the outer ring and the letter reached is the next one used. Each of the letters that you arrive at are the successive letters of the name. The end of the name occurs when you reach a letter without a number. Then the next name is started in the same fashion. For example, the first name is: Thaaoth, the second name is: Galaas, then: Gethog, Horlwn, Imon, Aaoth, and Galethog. The names thereafter can each be derived by finding the next capitol letter and starting the same process until you reach a letter without a number. Each of these names correspond with one of the seven planets.

The next names on the tablet are contained within the Heptagon. Each name is 7 letters within one side of the Heptagon. All seven of these names put into a table. Diagram . Within this table, if it is to be read vertically, then one can derive the Hebrew names of the sephiroth of the tree of life, from Agrippa. Diagram .
The names of the sons of light, daughters of light, sons of the songs of light and daughters of the daughters of light are also contained within the sigil dei aemeth. These entities correspond with the 7 planets and can be called upon when working with the Kings and Princes of the seven days of the week.
The seven names within the outermost Heptagon are placed in a table by the angels. The names are read left to right, with one name in each row. The names are as follows: ZllRHia, aZCaacb, paupnhr, hdmhiai, kkaaeee, iieelll and eellMG with a cross at the end of this last name.

The Hebrew names for the seven planets are also derived from this table. These names are contianed within Agrippa’s “Three books...” The names are derived by starting at the top left corner and reading downwards, then starting again at the top of the next column. The first name is Zaphkiel. The second name starts off after the first one leaves off, with the Z in the second column. Look for the capitol letters to find each of the successive names. The second name is Zadkiel. The rest of the names follow the same pattern: Cumael, Raphael, Haniel, Michael, and Gabriel. This is not quite the Kabbalistic tree of life order, but it is pretty close.

Another table was given by the angels for the names just inside of the outermost hexagon. These names are derived by reading from left to right along each row. The names are as follows: Saaieme, Btzkase, Heidene, Deimoa, Imegcbe, Ilaoivn and Ihrlaa.

The names on this table are read diagonally. The first name is: Sabathiel. To derive this name from the table, you start in the upper left hand corner with the S. Since there is no letters diagonally left to the letter S, you then move to the next row where you would add the A and the B. So far we have SAB. Since there are no further letters we start at the next row. Here we have an A, then T, then H. Now we have SABATH so far. Since this row is now finished we move to the next row where we find an I. Since the letter I has a number with it, this signifies that this is the end of the name. I have left the the letters that make up the first name in white.
All of the names on this table derived diagonally left are:
Sabathiel |
Saturn |
Zedekieil |
Jupiter |
Madimiel |
Mars |
Semeliel |
The |
Nogahel |
Venus |

I have added what I think to be the planetary associations for each name. The names from this table are very close to the Hebrew names for the planets. The spelling is quite a bit different then I am used to, however it is still obvious where these names stem from.
The seven daughters of the daughters of light are also derived in the same manner. These names are found by starting at the top left corner and going diagonally to the left. The daughters of the daughters of light are: S, Ab, Ath, Ized, Ekiei, Madimi and Esemeli. Looking at the letters diagonally you will easily see how these names are derived. The area to look at is the white and lightly shaded diagonals.
There is not any explanation of how to use these tables in the diaries. The tables contain names that are not on the Sigil Dei Aemeth as well. It could be possible that the Hebrew names can also be used in planetary workings when calling upon the angels from the sigil dei aemeth.
These tables can also be used to create sigils, to derive other Enochian planetary names, or as talismans placed on the alter or worn by the magickian. This is covered in the chapter on sigil magick.
Example Enochian planetary ritual using the sigil dei aemeth and kabbalistic names: Venus will be used in this example, however any planet can easily be substituted.
1. Perform your usual temple opening.
2. Statement of purpose.
2. Have your sigil dei aemeth on top of your table (not under the tablecloth).
3. Draw an invoking hexagram or heptagram corresponding with venus in the East.
4. Draw the planetary symbol.
5. Vibrate the names: Imon, Nogahel and Michael.
6. Procede with your magickal operation.
7. Perform your usual temple closing rituals.
