Essential oils

Essential oils are most useful in baths, to bring about specific magickal energies or results, or just to enjoy the wonderful natural scent. You can also add them to bath bombs, soaps, bath oils, and bath salts. You can also make specialized bath oils or tinctures for cleansing, to bring love, to bring money and for about any magickal outcome. You can also make water for asperging by simply adding about 10 drops of an essential oil, or 5 drops of the really strong ones. Essential oils can also be added to incense to bring out the scent more. I recommend both the powdered wood, resin or herb, then the essential oil as well. Another use is to dress candles with essential oils mixed with olive or almond oil. The best use of essential oils overall I believe is to make magickal oils or tinctures. You simply add the right combination of the essential oils into a base of olive or almond oil. NEVER use mineral oil; only use natural plant based oils.

We carry a wide variety of the essential oils most used in magick. ALL of our essential oils are STEAM DISTILLED, not that crappy solvent extraction that most places use to lessen the cost of their oils. (Unless otherwise noted of course.) On about 3-4 of the prohibitively expensive essential oils I have added the solvent extract version so you can still enjoy the essential oil without re-mortgaging your house. For example look at the first listing… aloeswood, I think the Co2 extraction is definitely the more workable option. Now don’t worry, these solvent extracted oils are just fine, they are actually what you find in most stores that sell real essential oils, they just aren’t as perfect for magic as the steam distilled. I have found they still work just fine though.

Keep in mind with oils, that most of what you see online or in magick stores is FAKE! I am not exaggerating, I would say 90% of what people sell as oils, or use in their mixed oils are fake perfume scents. Even sadder is many people don’t know the difference! I warn you not to purchase essential oils off a supplier you don’t trust. I have searched high and low for an essential oil wholesaler with the best smelling and quality oils, and have finally found a couple of them. I prefer to use and prefer the smell of the steam distilled myself, so I had to find a quality decently priced supplier of these essential oils. Or quite often you will purchase an “essential oil” only to find that it is cut with grapeseed oil or some other oil! Be extra wary if someone sells the same sized oils for the exact same price! As you can see below essential oils vary in cost by quite a bit.

You will note that our essential oils cost far less then most places. You will notice that I offer 1oz, and even sometimes 2 oz bottles for the same price the health food stores sell 1/4 (15ml) or 1/2 (30ml)oz bottles for. I also don’t cheap out and get the essential oil of the leaf (many other suppliers do) instead of the root or berry. I also choose the essential oils made from fresh plants instead of dried when available.

For now I am only offering the options below. You have to buy the amount specified or more. If you wish to purchase at least double the amount specified of one particular oil, get ahold of me as I may be able to offer you a better price. In the future I may offer smaller sized bottles of the e.o’s but that won’t be at least for 6 months. Basically I am wanting people to purchase $15-$20 worth of an oil to make it worth my time to order it fresh and bottle it. This isn’t so bad considering my prices are better then most ;).

Coming soon, I will be offering essential oil kits. I will offer the homemade Florida Water kit; the Abramelin French and German oil kits as well as the basic rootwork oils kit. These are basically pure essential oils that you get at a discount price because you are ordering 3 or more at once. I will also be offering solid essential iols in the near distant future. These are especially handy if you don't want your essential oil to evaporate within moments, as well as for rubbing onto things with less waste then regular essential oils. The best part of these e.o. solids of course is the fact that they tend to be 1/2 to 1/5th the price for the more expensive oils such as mimosa. Crap, forgot to add the botanical names, those are coming soon.

I can pretty much acquire any magical supply needed, so if you are after a certain essential oil and don’t see it on my list, just contact me. For special orders on the essential orders I do require a minimum $50 purchase.

The leaf is used in a few recipes as well... but generally it's the bark we want. What I recommend is that you purchase some fresh lemongrass from the store, sit that in alcohol for a month, shaking often.
